    • Inauthentic sports collectibles, celebrity autographs, or otherwise inauthentic versions of memorabilia or other items with inauthentic signatures.
    • Any item for gaining unauthorized entry to a place or vehicle including lock-picking devices, vehicle master keys, and other devices.

Official government-issue stamps and coins are not prohibited under this policy. Expressive media, such as books and films, may be subject to more permissive standards as determined by RVCN in its sole discretion.

Can I post anything in the classifieds? [top of list]

Classifieds are provided for RV, bus conversion and camping related items. Our purpose is not to list anything and everything our users want; only those things that would be useful for other RVers or campers, and that they might look for here.

Here are things you must not do:

  1. Fraud. You may not use or manipulate this service for any fraudulent activity or purpose, including collecting payment from buyers and not providing the item or service purchased, or filing false claims for insurance payments.
  2. Interference. You may not spam our system and/or impose an unreasonably or disproportionately large load on our system. You may not put any material on RVCN Classifieds that contains any viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer programming routines that may damage, interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or personal information. You may not solicit RVCN Classifieds users to post ads on other classifieds sites.
  3. Passwords. You are solely responsible for actions taken under your password and should not disclose it to anyone else. You cannot use your password for any unauthorized purpose.

Can I post what some may refer to as SPAM (not the meat product)? [top of list]

RVCN Classifieds encourages you to post ads in RVCN Classifieds as long as they are not duplicates or other forms of spam, or otherwise inconsistent with the RVCN Classifieds Guidelines. RVCN may take action to delete classifieds ads and/or RVCN user accounts that we believe are misusing this service. Prohibited spam or otherwise impermissible marketing activities in RVCN Classifieds may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Posting an ad that is unrelated to the category in which the ad is placed.
  2. Posting identical ads in the same category and location.
  3. Posting an ad with inappropriate links, titles, descriptions, or unauthorized use of content to which the person posting does not have rights.
  4. Posting a multi-level marketing position or other non-traditional job not involving a W2 or 1099.
  5. Posting an ad for the sole purpose of collecting user information or raising money.
  6. Posting an ad that contains unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials. This may include an ad that instruct the user(s) to contact the person/company posting the ad for more information and then require the user to pay a fee for that information.
  7. Posting a job ad that requires a monetary investment by the user at any time.
  8. Posting an ad that requires a user to register before getting detailed information about the product or position.
  9. Posting an ad through unauthorized robots (crawling software).
  10. Soliciting a RVCN Classifieds user to post an ad in another classifieds site.

RVCN Classifieds users do not appreciate spam. Spamming gives you and your service a bad name and decreases the effectiveness of your ads. RVCN may take corrective action, at our discretion, when prohibited activities or other misuses of the service become apparent.

Do you have seller guidelines? [top of list]

Yes, we do. All sellers must:

  1. Comply with applicable laws. You may not offer for sale or sell an item or service to any buyer in a jurisdiction where the item, service, or terms of the sale violate applicable laws or regulations. You also may not offer for sale any item or service that violates RVCN’s policies as described below in "Prohibited Items and Services."
  2. Provide accurate information. You must accurately describe the item you are selling. You may not include any language in your ad, including the ad title, which may confuse potential buyers or cause your ad to be included in search results to which it is not responsive.
  3. Place item in the appropriate category. You must list your item in the most appropriate category. Each item can only be listed in one category.
  4. Avoid inappropriate ad content. You may not link to, post, or include advertisements for goods or other materials that: (a) describe items or services that you are not selling in RVCN Classifieds, or (b) you do not have right to link to or include. You also may not include any content or images in your ad that are obscene, offensive, harmful to minors, invasive of anyone’s privacy, or otherwise inappropriate. RVCN reserves the right to modify your ad, if necessary, to remove content not in compliance.
  5. Have the rights to and possession of item. You may not offer any item for sale that is not in your possession, you do not have the right to sell, or that does not exist at the time of the ad.

How long will my classified ads be displayed? [top of list]

Free ads will be displayed for 60 days.

If you've paid for your ad, either individually or as part of a Dealer account, your ad will displayed indefinitely.

Once you mark an ad as "sold", it will continue to be displayed for another 30 days, accompanied by a graphic indicating that the item is no longer for sale.

What are the overall Terms and Conditions in a nutshell? [top of list]

1. Copy and Material: RV-Coach Network reserves the right to revise or reject for any reason at its sole discretion any advertising copy submitted. All Advertising materials, including photos, submitted by Advertiser or created by RV-Coach Network are the property of RV-Coach Network and may not be reproduced by a third party in other publications, electronic media or any other materials without RV-Coach Network's or Advertiser's written consent.

2. Errors: RV-Coach Network's liability for damages resulting from errors in any advertising that it publishes or from its failure to publish any advertisement that it has agreed to publish shall be limited to the amount it actually received in consideration for its agreement to publish the advertisement in question. RV-Coach Network shall not be responsible for any special, incidental or consequential damages suffered by any party resulting from its errors or omissions. The Advertiser must report such errors or omissions within seven days of the publication dates.

3. Hold Harmless: Advertiser accepts all liability for the content of all advertising supplied by it. Advertiser warrants to RV-Coach Network that its copy is true, that it is not libelous or defamatory, that it violates no rights of privacy, that it infringes no trademark, and that it complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The fact that copy shall have been previously submitted to RV-Coach Network for approval and shall have been approved by it either in whole or in part, shall not relieve Advertiser of the warranty. Advertiser agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless RV-Coach Network from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, suits, costs, or expenses, arising by reason of the publication of Advertiser's advertisement or breach of the foregoing warranty, whether such claims are well-grounded or not.

4. Inability to Perform: Neither party shall be required to perform any term or condition so long as such performance is delayed or prevented by force majeure, including acts of God, strikes, lockouts, material, or labor restrictions by any government authority, civil riot, floods, and any other cause not reasonably within the control of the performing party and which, by due diligence, such party is unable, wholly or in part, to prevent or overcome.

What are the rules-of-thumb for classifieds? [top of list]

We have established the following guidelines to ensure the quality of RV-Coach Network (RVCN) Classifieds. (Please remember that Classifieds are posted by other users, not by RVCN.)

  • Sellers and buyers are responsible for all aspects of the transactions in which they choose to participate.
  • All transactions conducted on RVCN Classifieds must be consistent with any applicable legal rules and with RVCN’s guidelines and Terms of Service.
  • RVCN reserves the right to reject or remove any ad that is not consistent with the letter or spirit of RVCN’s policies or the law.
Please review the guidelines above and make sure any transactions you conduct comply fully.

Why do you provide classifieds on your site? [top of list]

The RV-Coach Network provides Classifieds as a platform for our users to connect with one another. RVCN does not participate in, nor is it a party to, any Classifieds transactions. Therefore, users of this service should be aware that:

  • Sellers and buyers are completely responsible for working out the sale and exchange of goods or services.
  • Sellers and buyers must resolve any disputes that may arise from Classifieds transactions. It is important to use care throughout your dealings with other people in RVCN Classifieds.
  • Sellers and buyers are responsible for researching and complying with any applicable laws, regulations or restrictions on items, services, or manner of sale or exchange that may pertain to transactions in which they participate.
  • Sellers and buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes and for all costs incurred by participating in RVCN Classifieds.
